Append Inbound SMS (M2M)

POST
/v1/bundler/messaging/inbox/sms

Store one inbound SMS in the sender's thread with the channel's agent.

Every refusal to resolve the channel answers with the identical 404 body, as channel-resolve does, so the route cannot be used to enumerate which numbers the platform serves. Asynchronous channels answer from the stored conversation, so an agent with conversation storage disabled is refused.

Request Body

application/json

TypeScript Definitions

Use the request body type in TypeScript.

An inbound SMS or MMS handed over by agent-runtime after the provider webhook's signature verified. provider_message_id is the provider's own id for the message and makes the append idempotent. A message carries text, media references, or both.

Response Body

application/json

curl -X POST "https://example.com/v1/bundler/messaging/inbox/sms" \  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \  -d '{    "provider": "string",    "recipient": "string",    "sender": "string",    "provider_message_id": "string"  }'
{  "conversation_id": "cc71b11a-25cd-4c2d-9950-df2cc38e3407",  "appended": true}
